Now Playing Tracks

I hate the fact that every time I see this I want to start crying all over again.

Especially now that I can connect it to my two favorite boys - Snape and Peeta. Of course, it will always be more of a Snape thing than Peeta, but they both have the exact same reason for uttering this single word. They both used this to proclaim their never dying, always yielding love for the girls that they thought were impossible to ever call their own. Of course, in the end, Peeta was a bit more lucky with getting her, but it took so much pain and loss of memories, that it might’ve been just as bad. I ache for Snape though. He’s such a good guy, and he died to keep the son he deserved safe from the man he had been deceiving. For anyone who doesn’t respect Snape - f*ck you.

The Hunger Games 30 Day Challenge

Day One: Your favorite character

Now that’s just unfair. How can I pick one out of the whole series, even if we were talking about just the first book. There are so many to pick - Peeta, Effie, Gale, Katniss, Prim, Rue, Thresh, Greasy Sae, Madge - you can’t just pick it down to one, because then someone else will pop up.

So, I decided that there were two men that I couldn’t rule out - ever. And they are so completely un-alike that it would be impossible to chose one. But, these two lucky men made the cut.

First -

Cinna. But, everyone loves him, and how could you not? He believes in Katniss through everything, despite him being apart of the capitol. He is himself, laid back, smart, and he knows what to say and when to say it. He’s perfect, which is why Catching Fire peeves me off so much.

Second -

Haymitch Abernathy. For anyone that doesn’t like him: SCREW YOU. Haymitch, despite him being a major dick-head at the beginning, is honestly only like that because of what he was put through. Can you really blame him for being so drunken all the time? You go through having to watch not 23 people, but 47 innocent people die. He is so much like Katniss that you could laugh - or cry. Depending on how you put things. He knows motives, and honestly cares about Katniss and Peeta. He tries to make sure that they survive, both of them, even when hopes look down. He doesn’t hold grudges - after they are repaid, anyways. He’s a smart cookie, funny, and all-around good guy. You just have to get past the  disheveled, drunken look. Mr. Abernathy is amazing.
